It used to be easy to answer that question - just look it up well in advance on DLP.info or the official website of the resort, or once on site take a look at the park map handed out at the entrances to the theme parks. But some things change - and this year this applies to the opening hours of the theme parks as the Resort in its quest to further improve guest satisfaction has repeatedly adjusted opening hours already for the spring season. One of the latest updates resulted in extended opening hours for the Disneyland Park on the upcoming long holiday-weekend from May 25 to 28, when the Disneyland Park will be open from 9.00 am to 10.00 pm on the 25th, 9.00 am to 11.00 pm on the 26th and 27th and finally again 9.00 am till 8.00 pm on the 28th. These, compared to the original plan, extended opening hours do not only give guests more time to enjoy the park and especially see it illuminated at night but also allowed the park to schedule FIREWORKS on the 25th, 26th and 27th!
Guests on these days will be treated to the popular fireworks display "Tinkerbell's Fantasy in the Sky" which got rave reviews of guests and fans alike in the past (prior to being retired for "Wishes" which is often criticized for a lack of sufficient pyrotechnis and instead relying to heavily on projections). Unfortunately Tinkerbell herself will not fly to the castle to start the fireworks (as she did in the past), since the necessary set-up was taken down in 2005. Earlier rumored plans to treat guests to a preview of the updated version of "Wishes" returning on July 17 were not feasable, since the necessary laser systems and projectors are not yet in place. But then many fans and guests seem to prefer "Tinkerbell's Fantasy in the Sky" anyway based on last years reviews of "Wishes".
