As already reported in March the grassy hill between the Fantasy Festival Stage and Alice's Curious Labyrinth has been decorated with selected to props to function as a picturesque backdrop for a photo opportunity with Winnie the Pooh himself. Now an additional sign with an excerpt of a map of the 100 Aker Wood, home of Winnie and his friends, has been installed with an English legend. The sign also informs guests, that they can meet Winnie on-site daily from 10.00 am till 12.30 pm.
Interestingly the Fantasy Festival Stage has been walled off with a construction fence. It is assumed that this is connected to the upcoming premiere of the updated and re-staged "Winnie the Pooh and friends too" show in the theater (up to last year staged on the Castle Stage). 
Still it is unknown why the construction fence is necessary. After all the exterior of the Fantasy Festival Stage underwent a lengthy rehab last year and all work necessary for the show normally should be limited to the interior / the stage. Due the fact that the Fantasy Festival Stage no longer is a covered open-air stage (as it was in 1992) but a fully enclosed theater, this work would be hidden from guests view anyway. So why the construction fence? May we get some extra themeing next to the entrances? Or maybe a more permanent queue line is set up? After all during the Christmas seasons the line of guests waiting for "Le Noel de Mickey" easily stretched out all the way to Dumbo blocking the guest flow from Alice's Curious Labyrinth to Peter Pan's Flight.

Nun wurde zusätzlich noch ein Schild mit dem Auszug einer Karte des 100-Morgen-Waldes mit englischer Beschriftung aufgestellt, der Heimat von Winnie und seinen Freunden. Unklar ist aber, wieso der Bauzaun notwendig war, ist das Gebäude doch erst im vergangenen Jahr aufwendig renoviert worden. Alle für die Show notwendigen Arbeiten sollten also eigentlich im Theater stattfinden und damit außerhalb der Sichtweite der Gäste, selbst wenn kein Bauzaun aufgestellt worden wäre. Schließlich ist die Fantasy Festival Stage zwischenzeitlich ein rundum geschlossenes klassisches Theater und nicht mehr, wie 1992, an den Seiten des Zuschauerbereiches offen. Warum also die Absperrung? Wird eventuell zusätzliches Themeing im Eingangsbereich installiert? Oder wird eine dauerhafter Wartebereich eingerichtet? Schließlich zog sich während der Weihnachtssaison die Warteschlange für die Show "Le Noel de Mickey" regelmäßig über den gesamten Vorplatz bis hin zu Dumbo und blockierte damit den Weg zwischen Alice's Curious Labyrinth und Peter Pan's Flight.
