Since last year more and more sources add credibility to the ongoing rumor that the Tower of Terror may not open in 2008 but already during the Halloween season 2007. But the official wording has always been that the Tower will open in 2008. Now with the release of the 2005 Financial Report of Euro Disney S.C.A. a slight but important tweaking of this official line seems to have taken place: instead of "opening in 2008" the line now reads "scheduled to openin in fiscal year 2008"! Now, since the fiscal year of Euro Disney S.C.A. always starts on October 1st, an opening during Halloween 2007 would actually be in fiscal year 2008 already!!
But there is more interesting news - the "attraction program" which brought us already "Space Mountain - Mission 2" and is about to bring us "Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast" as well as the Toon Studios and the Tower according to the Management General Report is budgeted at approximately 240 million Euro to be spend in the fiscal years 2005 through 2009 (just for the record: at the end of fiscal year 2005 only 39 million Euro had been spent of this amount). With the Tower of Terror openin in fiscal year 2008 the question is: what is the mysterious attraction kept under wrap so far for 2009?

Die offizielle Linie blieb jedoch immer bei der Aussage "2008". Mit der Veröffentlichung des 2005 Financial Report von Euro Disney S.C.A. hat sich hier jedoch scheinbar eine Kleinigkeit verändert. Dort heißt es nun nämlich: "vorgesehen ist eine Eröffnung im GEschäftsjahr 2008"! Nun, das Geschäftsjahr beginnt bei Euro Disney S.C.A. aber bereits am 1. Oktober, so dass eine Eröffnung während der Halloween Saison 2007 bereits im Geschäftsjahr 2008 liegen würde!!
Aber es gibt noch mehr interessante Neuigkeiten - das "Attraktions Programm", dem wir bereits "Space Mountain - Mission 2" verdanken und das uns bald "Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast", die Toon Studios und den Tower bringen wird ist laut dem Management General Report mit 240 Millionen Euro für die Geschäftsjahre 2005 bis einschließlich 2009 budgetiert (wovon bis zum Ende des Geschäftsjahres 2005 erst 39 Millionen Euro ausgegeben waren). Die Frage lautet also, wenn der Tower of Terror bereits im Geschäftsjahr 2008 eröffnet, welche Attraktion wird dann für 2009 unter strenger Geheimhaltung vorbereitet?
