Es ist wieder Zeit - für ein weiteres Update zum Baufortschritt des Tower of Terror im Walt Disney Studios Themenpark.
Was gibt es also zu melden? Nun, das Eingangs- und Show-Scene-Gebäude hat wieder Fortschritte gemacht. Die Front-Fassade zeichnet sich bereits deutlich ab, auch wenn das Stahl-Skelett des kleinen Turms noch nicht verkleidet ist. Dank der zumindestens vorübergehend an der rechten Hälfte entfernten Gerüste ist auch gut zu erkennen, wie geschickt die Fassade mit kleinen Vorsprüngen und Stufen strukturiert wurde, um den Eindruck eines einfachen Kastens zu vermeiden - selbst vor Maler- und Dekoarbeiten. Interessant ist auch der kleine Turm, der etwas vor / neben der Fassade links in Richtung Production Courtyard platziert wurde.
Auf der Spitze des Towers gehen derweil die Arbeiten weiter, diesem eine weniger gleichmäßigen Eindruck zu verschaffen, indem an verschiedener Stelle uneinheitlich weitere Stockwerke wie kleine extra Türme ergänzt werden. Die für die Attraktion benötigte Höhe ist aber bereits erreicht und im übrigen auch für alle drei Drop-Shafts identisch.

It is that time again - for another update on the progress of the Tower of Terror in the Walt Disney Studios theme park.
So what is new to report? Well, there has been some more progress on the entrance and show-scene building. The front facade is pretty fast shaping up, even so steel skeleton of the small turret still sits there barren. But with many of the scaffoldings around the right half temporarily gone one can clearly see how the facade is cleverly structured with recesses, little steps and similar to avoid the impression of a big box, even before the painting and decorating has started. Also note the little tower that sits to the left of the main entrance building (toward Production Courtyard).
On the top of the tower in the meantime work continues to add extra floors in some parts to give it a more uneven look, even so the actual maximum height necessary for the ride has been reached already and is identical across all three drop shafts.
