When Walt Disney created Disneyland he wanted to have the opportunity to tell his stories in three dimensions. He was able to build the sets for his stories - but a certain element was missing: characters.

In time for the high season and the huge crowds descending on the theme parks the Disneyland Resort Paris has made sure numerous new products await guests in the shops ... ranging from funny shirts featuring e.g. Stitch and Sleeping Beauty all the way to useful items like salt and pepper both forming the half of a black/white Mickey head shape or plain strange items like Minnie and Mickey decked out as bride and groom which actually are another salt and pepper shaker!
Those looking for some deals should take a close look at the clothing displays as currently the summer sales with discounts up to 40% for shirts, trousers and many other items takes place. But discounted prices are not only to be found in the clothing section. Due to the release of the new souvenir DVD and a new souvenir brochure the prior editions of both are now offered at sharply discounted prices. Also the soundtrack of the show "The Legend of The Lion King" at the Videopolis is now on sale for 5,- Euro even so it still packs in the crowds and the lines for tickets reach all the way down to Star Traders on busy days. Speaking of CDs: the re-releases continue in this section. 
Now the single "la-di-da carnaval" as well as the "Disney Cinema Parade" are both available with identical content but new design as well. Also the "Frontierland en musique" CD has been rereleased with new artwork and the two "Halloween"-songs being replaced with "Halloween-Lo-Ween" in the regular version and the country remix. Any really new CD out? Not really. The latest release is the replacement for the "Disney's Fantillusion Parade" single, which now features new artwork as well as a new track titled "Wishes Medley - unfortunately that is not the complete score of "Wishes" as heared every night in the park but once again only the short snippet already released on the "Disneyland Resort Paris en musique" CD.
