Euro Disney S.C.A. announced today that it completed its legal and financial restructuring as yesterday the new shares were admitted to trading on Euronext Paris and Brussels as well as the Stock Exchange London. With this final settlement of the company's share capital increase the terms of the Memorandum of Agreement finally could take full effect easing the burden of credit services of the group, provide liquidity and 250 million Euro new capital for investements as Space Mountain: Mission 2, Buzz Lightyear's AstroBlaster or Tower of Terror (all three already under construction) and the Toon Studios (still in planing phase).The group was able to inform the public last week already on Friday that it was able to receive approximately 9% more subscriptions for the new shares than the actual number of new shares that were issued now - thanks to the preferential rights of exsisting shareholders to purchase 2.8 billion new shares at 0.09 Euro per share.
Unfortunately there is some not so good news too. Even so the subscription numbers were cited to proove investor confidence the slide of the share price continues. Based on the share price today at 11.00 am in the last 6 months the share price on the stock market of Paris slided down 13.33%, in the last three months it would have been even 18.75% and since the 1st of Januara still 7.14%. Having climbed to a year-high of 0.18 Euro midway through the subscription period for the new shares on February 4 the stock price crashed down to 0.11 Euro on Monday, the year-low, and is now climbing back to 0.13 Euro - which at least is still ABOVE the price of 0.09 Euro that shareholders paid for their shares under the preferred subscription plan!

Euro Disney S.C.A. hat heute bekannt gegeben, dass es seine rechtliche und finanzielle Restrukturierung nunmehr abgeschlossen hat, nachdem gestern die neuen Aktien auf den Euronext Börsen in Paris und Brüssel sowie an der Börse in London zum Handel zugelassen wurden. Mit diesem Abschluss der Kapitalerhöhung konnten nun die Bestimmungen des Memorandum of Agreement endgültig in Kraft treten, das die Belastung durch Kreditrückzahlungen lindert, die Liquidität erhöht und neues Kapital verfügbar macht - letzteres für Investitionen wie Space Mountain: Mission 2, Buzz Lightyear's AstroBlaster oder Tower of Terror (alle drei bereits im Bau) und die Toon Studios (noch in der Planungsphase). Schon am vergangenen Freitag hatte die Gruppe informiert, dass ca. 9% mehr Aktienzeichnungen vorlägen, als nun Aktien ausgegeben wurden. Zu einem guten Teil dank der Vorkaufsrechte der Aktionäre, die neue Aktien zum Vorzugspreis von 9 Euro-Cent erwerben konnten.
Leider gibt es auch weniger gute Meldungen: auch wenn die hohe Zeichnungszahl als Beweis des Investorenvertrauens ausgelegt wurde, so ist der Aktienpreis doch im Sinkflug über die vergangenen Monate. Ausgehend von dem Aktienpreis an der Pariserbörse heute um 11.00 Uhr ist der Preis in den letzten 6 Monaten um 13,33%, in den letzten drei Monaten alleine um 18,75% und seit dem 1.1.2005 um 7,14% gesunken. Nachdem er zur Hälfte der Zeichnungsperiode für Aktionäre am 4. Februar auf ein Jahreshoch von 18 Euro-Cent gestiegen war, brach er am Montag auf 11 Euro-Cent ein und konnte sich bis heute nur langsam auf 13 Euro-Cent erholen - allerdings liegt das noch immer ÜBER dem Preis von 9 Euro-Cent den Aktionäre bei Ausübung des Vorkaufsrechtes gezahlt haben!
