Nachdem zahlreiche Wagen der aktuellen Wonderful World of Disney Parade bereits Bestandteil der Disney Parade am Eröffnungstag des Parks waren, träumen Fans seit langem von einer echten neuen Parade, mit neuen Wagen und nicht nur kleinen Änderungen und einem neuen Namen. Klingt das wie ein Märchen?
Nun, genau das ist es - oder zumindestens ein Traum, der schon viele Jahre geträumt wird und bei jeder Premiere einer "neuen" Parade wieder enttäuscht wurde. ABER vor mehreren Monaten tauchten wieder neue Gerüchte auf, der Park würde zum 15. Geburtstag des Resorts 2007 eine echte neue Parade erhalten.
Nun, Pastonio hat die neuesten, online verfügbaren Gerüchte dazu auf der französischen Fanseite DLRP.fr gefunden und die wesentlichen Eckdaten im DLP.info Forum gepostet. Laut den Quellen von DLRP.fr können wir uns auf die neue "Disney's Once Upon a Dream Parade" mit 8 neuen Wagen freuen, einschließlich einem Opening Float mit Mickey und Minnie, einem Wagen der Bösewichte und einem Wagen für die Prinzessinen. Die übrigen 5 Wagen repräsentieren jeweils 2 Disney Klassiker. DLRP.fr hat zudem Informationen erhalten, die Parade solle etwas weniger Tänzer als zur Zeit aufbieten, dafür aber mehr Disney Characters, die während der 4 Stops mit den Gästen interagieren sollen (allerdings wurden bei allen aktuellen Paraden die Stops auf Grund Gästereaktionen gestrichten). Als wäre all das noch nicht genug ... hat DLRP.fr sogar eine Konzeptzeichnung des Opening Floats erhalten! Jetzt bleibt nur noch zu hoffen, dass das kein neues Märchen ist...

With numerous of the floats in the current Wonderful World of Disney Parade in use since the original Disney Parade from the park's opening day April 12, 1992, fans have been dreaming of a really new parade, with all new floats and not just some minor changes and a new name for many years. Sounds like a fairy tale?
Well, that is what it was for many years, as hopes were crushed when one parade after the other premiered once again featuring essential the same major floats. BUT rumors picked up again several months ago, that for the resort's 15th anniversary in 2007 a really new parade would premiere.
Now Pastonio has found the latest rumors as published by the French DLRP-fan-site DLRP.fr and posted the core data in the DLP.info Forum. According to the sources of DLRP.fr we can look forward to a new parade titled "Disney's Once Upon a Dream Parade" featuring 8 floats, including the opening float starring Mickey and Minnie, a Villain's float and a Princess Float as well as 5 floats each featuring two movies. DLRP.fr also states that the parade will feature slightly less dancers than the current parade but instead more characters, which will interact with guests along the parade route during four stops (nevermind that all current parades canceled their stops due to underwhelming guest reactions). And to top it all off ... DLRP.fr even has a concept drawing of the opening float! Now let's hope this is not a fairy tale...
