Als Walt Disney Disneyland erschuf wollte er die Möglichkeit haben seine Geschichten dreidimensional erzählen zu können. Er konnte die Sets für diese Geschichten bauen - doch ein gewisses Element fehlte noch: die Figuren.
Adventureland ist das zu Hause von Sandstränden, tropischen Inselnd und versteckten Schätzen - also die perfekte Umgebung für jeden Piraten...

In den vergangenen Wochen scheint Schritt für Schritt eine Erweiterung des Angebots in den Fast Food Restaurants des Disneyland Parks in Gang gesetzt worden zu sein, damit sich die Restaurants stärker voneinander abheben. Erste Anzeichen dafür finden sich in den Menüs zweier Restaurants im Frontierland.
Das Last Chance Cafe, in den letzten Jahren auf Burger und Pommes Frites spezialisiert, im Sommer 2004 vorübergehend als Eiscafe mit Tischbedienung genutzt, fungiert seit diesem Sommer wieder als Fast Food Restaurant - mit einer kleinen, aber besonderen Speisenauswahl. Geboten werden Pommes Frites (natürlich), Chicken Nuggets und "Le Pionnier" mit Baguette, gebratenen Würstchen, Salsa- und Barbecue Sauce sowie Cheddar Käse.
Nur wenige Schritte weiter im Frontierland wurde zudem das Menü des Fuento del Oro überarbeitet. Statt Quesadillas sind hier nun Hot Chicken Burritos im Angebot. Die Frage ist jetzt: werden noch mehr Fast Food Restaurants ihr Angebot spezialisieren? Werden vielleicht auch die Speisekarten der Table Service Restaurants wieder umgestellt? Solltest Du neue Speisen bei Deinem nächsten Besuch entdecken, nicht vergessen uns bescheid zu geben!

In the recent weeks a new push to improve the variety of food offerings in the fast food restaurants of the Disneyland Park seems to have been unveiled step by step. So far results can be seen in two locations, both found in Frontierland.
The Last Chance Cafe, in the recent years offering the usual collection of burgers and fries, and in the summer of 2004 functioning as a table service only ice cream parlour, has returned this summer as a fast food location with a special menu featuring a very limited, but unique choice of fries, chicken nuggets and "Le Pionnier" consisting of baguette, roasted sausage, salsa sauce, cheddar cheese and barbecue sauce.
Now the Fuento del Oro restaurant a few steps further into Frontierland has updated its menu as well. Instead of Quesadillas now Hot Chicken Burritos are on offer. So the question is: will any more fast food restaurants update their offerings? Is there any chance that the table service restaurants may update their menus again? If you happen to find menu changes during your visit, tell us!
