An den Ausgängen des Disneyland Parks und der Walt Disney Studios weisen große Schilder die Gäste daraufhin, dass zum Wiedereintritt ein Stempel auf dem Handrücken benötigt wird. Dem sollte man jedoch nicht glauben. Denn seit Beginn des Sommers verzichtet das Resort auf diese Identifikationsmethode - natürlich ist ein Wiedereintritt trotzdem möglich. Eben ohne Stempel. Allerdings hat man auch auf ein alternatives System verzichtet, dass die Passports einem Gast fest zuordnet, wie z.B. der Scan der Fingerlänge in Walt Disney World. Stattdessen kann nun jedermann mit einem gültigen Ticket die Re-Entry-Eingänge nutzen (die übrigens auch noch mit alten Schildern ausgestattet sind). Der Grund für diese Entscheidung, die regelreicht dazu einlädt, ein wenig mit der Zahl der Tickets zu "mogeln", wurde nicht veröffentlicht. Ist es vielleicht nur ein Test? Wer weiß, die alten Schilder hängen ja noch ...
... aber dann ist das nicht wirklich ein Hinweis, nachdem ja auch der Fehler auf einem der Schilder an der FastPass-Ausgabe von Big Thunder Mountain (das versehentlich den Space Mountain erwähnte) erst korrigiert wurde, nachdem ein Fan selbst mit einem Edding Hand angelegt hatte. Auch die erst im Frühjahr im Emporium angebrachten Schilder, die es erleichtern sollten, bestimmte Produkte zu finden, gehen mittlerweile fehl, nachdem die Produkte umgeräumt wurden. So finden sich im Pin Trading Regal nun Kappen und T-Shirts, während die Pins under "Bed & Bath" gelandet sind. Da bleibt nur zu hoffen, dass die unnötige Ausgabe für solche Schilder wenigstens im Rahmen der Renovierung der zweiten Hälfte des Emporiums, die gerade stattfindet, gestrichen wurde...
When exiting the Disneyland Park or the Walt Disney Studios large signs inform guests, that it is necessary to receive a hand stamp for re-entry. But better don't believe them. Since the early summer the resort has discontinued the hand stamp - certainly re-entry is still possible. Just without the hand stamp. Alas differing from Walt Disney World no additional system is in place to tie passports to certain guests (by measuring the length of fingers or other methods). Instead everybody will be admitted through the re-entry gates (which also still have old signs mentioning the hand stamp) as long as he presents a valid ticket. The reasons for this decision, which just asks for cheating by using one ticket for several guests, has not been communicated so far. Is it just a test? Who knows, the old signs are still up...
... but then this may not be any indication, afterall the misprint on one sign at the FastPass distribution of Big Thunder Mountain (which referenced Space Mountain) was only replaced when a guest corrected the misprint with a marker by hand. Also the new non-temporary signs that were installed above the shelves in the renovated half of the Emporium are all wrong already again, since the merchandise has been moved around a bit, placing shirts and caps in the official Pin Trading shelf, while the pins ended up in the Bed & Bath area. Hope must be, that at least in the second half of the Emporium, currently under rehab, the extra costs for similar signs is not wasted again...
