Der Weihnachtsmarkt hat sich in den vergangenen Jahres als Bestandteil der Weihnachtssaison sowohl bei den Anwohnern des Resorts als auch bei Fans etaibliert - doch dieses Jahr steht eine Veränderung an. Obwohl durch die Entfernung der großen Säulen in der vorderen Hälfte des Disney Village neuer Raum entstanden ist, wurde der Weihnachtsmarkt dieses Jahre auf der "Esplanade" errichtet, d.h. auf der breiten Allee zwischen den Fantasia Gardens bzw. dem Eingang der Walt Disney Studios und dem IMAX Theater, der NEX Arcade und dem Disney Village Parkhaus. Dadurch befindet sich der Markt auch vor den Sicherheitskontrollen, so dass Gäste, die die Parks verlassen, ohne weiteres Hinderniss direkt den Markt betreten können.

The Christmas Market has established itself as a standard feature beloved by locals and regular guests every Christmas Season - but this year they are due for a change. Not only is there the usual new "theme" for the market, as this year it is supposed to be a "Bavarian Christmas Market", but also a new location!
Even so the removal of the giant columns in the first half of the Disney Village has created additional space the Christmas Market this year has been errected on the "Esplanade", which is the large walkway leading from the Fantasia Gardens and the entrance of the Walt Disney Studios to the IMAX theatre, the NEX arcade and the Disney Village parking structure. Thus the Christmas market is located in front of the security check allowing guests leaving the parks to enjoy it without any delays.
