Als Walt Disney Disneyland erschuf wollte er die Möglichkeit haben seine Geschichten dreidimensional erzählen zu können. Er konnte die Sets für diese Geschichten bauen - doch ein gewisses Element fehlte noch: die Figuren.
The Toon Studios building “Studio 5” has its scaffolding removed. The whole main back building, except for the building number and top decoration, has now turned blue. The blue is being continued all over to the Art of Disney Animation building too and give the area a feeling of unity.
The front, smaller part, of the building could be next to get some colors. While some “blue” rock formation is already visible while looking over the fence the building itself still looks a little bare. It is only a matter of time before we will see that part of the building change (into blue) too.
While Studio 5 is getting more color another building inside the studios has now also received a “back” rub with some color to brighten it up: The Tower of Terror grey walls are starting to get hidden behind some paint.
Under the paint coat some extra decorations have been added to give the building a little more form and personal feeling. The same kind of decorations can be spotted in front of the building, waiting to undergo the same coloring treatment as the back. Soon the Tower will blend in with the rest of the Disney Studios.
