Toon Studios opening is getting closer, in less then 1 year Guest of the studios will have the chance to re-experience the Nemo adventure on the Roller Coaster of Crush, the speed of a race car with the Cars characters and the pleasure of meeting many Disney and Pixar toons.
The Coaster, named conveniently “Crush’s Coaster, will be themed after the movie’s wild ride on the back of a turtle under the sea. While we could witness the layout and even had many pictures of the coaster while it was build, the look of the theme inside will remain a secret for a little while longer. What is no longer a secret is the building around the coaster.
While the number 5 has been viewable for a while, it has now been given the same color scheme as the other buildings. The building itself is also being painted and it cannot be overlooked that the main color will be (crystal clear sea) blue distanting itself from the main color used on all the other buildings.
With the colors added and the end nearing of this big project, guests of the Walt Disney Studios are now shown what surprise awaits them for a future visit. Big cut outs of the Pixar animations “Nemo” and “Cars” have been added to the big blue fences that separate the park from the building site. Several of the Cars characters are racing down the fence while Crush, Nemo and his friends are showing what they will treat their guest too once the fences go down. The most famous shark Bruce is also popping up on several of the cut out boards, promising an encounter with the “want to be vegetarian” predator.
Other boards are showing the expected opening date, being June 2007, the complete concept art of the new Toon Studio area and let’s not forget those three seagulls sitting pride on the fence, overlooking the park, in preparation of their role in the new Studios area.
